Is Dr. Brand a regular dentist or a holistic dentist?
Aside from being a licensed conventional dentist, Dr. Brand also has much advanced training in biological dentistry and alternative medicine. She is board certified in Integrative Biologic Dental Medicine and is board certified as a Naturopathic Physician. She is also a Fellow of the Academy of General Dentistry (FAGD) and a Fellow of the Institute for Natural Dentistry (FIND), both which require advanced training with examinations. What is a holistic or biological dentist? How is it different from my regular dentist?
All dentists, whether holistic or traditional, are trained in the same methods at the same dental schools, and must be licensed by their State Boards. A holistic dentist, also referred to as a biological dentist, takes a comprehensive approach that focuses on whole body wellness as related to the oral cavity (teeth, gums, tongue, etc.) Holistic/biological dentists use non-toxic restorative materials for dental work, and emphasize the unrecognized impact that dental toxins and dental infections may have on a person's overall health.
What kind of conditions does Dr. Brand treat?
Dr. Brand has extensive experience with a host of different dental concerns. Our office is SMART (Safe Mercury Amalgam Removal Treatment) certified, and IAOMT Accredited for following the proper protocol for safe mercury amalgam removal. We also offer many natural remedies to prevent root canal, and heal gum disease without surgery. Does your office participate with my insurance?
Payment is due at the time of service. We are out-of-network with all insurance plans. Please verify with your insurance provider or human resource office that you have out-of-network benefits so that you can be reimbursed by your insurance provider. All insurance claims are submitted electronically and you should be reimbursed by your insurance company within 10 business days.
What is the fee for first time appointments?
New Patient Comprehensive Consultation – $385
New Patient Comprehensive Exam with Cleaning - $505 – $560
There is a $100 non-refundable deposit to reserve your first appointment with Dr. Brand.
This deposit will be deducted from the total cost of your visit. You can pre-pay this fee here.
All New Patient Examinations include:

Complete review of your medical and dental history

Clinical oral evaluation, including a basic oral cancer screening, periodontal evaluation, dental examination for cavities and broken teeth, Tongue reading (Chinese medicine), laser diagnostic cavity detection (as needed)

Blood pressure screening

Oxygen saturation evaluation

Saliva pH evaluation (to check if you are acidic or alkaline)

Nutritional recommendations to improve your dental and overall health
A personalized comprehensive Treatment Plan will be created, and reviewed with you at this appointment. Financial concerns can be addressed if needed.
Are X-rays included in my appointment?
X-rays are an additional fee. If you have recent x-rays from another office, please be sure to bring them with you or email them to us at successdds@gmail.com.
X-rays in our office are computerized and digital, allowing for a 90% reduction in radiation as compared to conventional dental x-rays. A lead vest with a thyroid collar shield is always used for your safety, as well as a homeopathic remedy. Vitamin C antioxidant is also offered for the Full Mouth Series of x-rays. Your safety is our highest priority.
